Cooking and Shopping Savvy
A registered dietitian will provide participants with practical tips for fast and health cooking. Current healthy recipe publications will be reviewed as well as instructing participants how to modify their favorite recipes to decrease the fat, salt and calories. One evening will include a cooking demonstration and of course tasting. There will also be an in-depth discussion on ho to efficiently shop for the healthiest products and how to decipher the true nutritional value from the label. The last evening will have a virtual grocery store tour for all participants to practice their newly acquired skills.
