Saint Mary’s Breathe Easy Program
Tobacco Use Cessation Program
You already know that smoking increases your risk of heart
disease, cancer, bronchitis and emphysema. Not to mention the
fact that you may experience excessive and early skin wrinkling,
increased feelings of tension and loss of your sense of taste
or smell. Smoking also costs you more than $2,000 a year if you’re a
pack-a-day smoker. The bottom line is that it’s costly to
your health and wallet.
But you can change all that by participating in Saint Mary’s
Breathe Easy Program, a tobacco use cessation program that helps
you understand why and where you smoke. We’ll help you
recognize your smoking triggers and learn to replace them
with new and healthier activities. The program consists
of six 2 hour classes taught by a Mayo Clinic-certified tobacco treatment specialist/certified health and wellness coach. HealthFirst members who attend the Breathe Easy classes
have a pharmacy benefit for tobacco cessation medicaions. This also
applies to Health Choice members who have pharmacy benefits. Please

Cost is $25 for HealthFirst members, Health Choice members, Saint
Mary’s employees and volunteers; $100 for the community.
