HealthFirst offers the following HMO products to employers:
Small Group (employers with 2 to 50 employees) or Large Group (employers with more than 50 employees)
Product: these products are comprehensive medical and hospital insurance plans that employers can
choose from. There multiple plan design options to choose from.
Small Group Product (employers with 2 to 50 employees): This
product is a comprehensive medical and hospital insurance plan that employers
can choose from. There are 25 plan design options to choose from.
Point of Service: This is HealthFirst's triple option
product that allows members to choose their benefit at the time of service. The
Point of Service plans combine the convenience and low out-of-pocket expenses of
an HMO, greater freedom to choose a PPO provider from a larger panel of
healthcare professionals, and complete flexibility to choose any licensed care
provider - all into one benefits package.
Supplemental Coverage Options:
Dental Riders: This product is an option for employers that
have chosen a
HealthFirst medical plan. HealthFirst has several dental options to choose from.
Vision Rider: This product is an option for employers
that have chosen a HealthFirst medical plan. This plan provides vision
coverage.
Prescription Riders: This product is an option for employers that have chosen a
HealthFirst medical plan. The plan provides for prescriptions from the member's primary care physician,
or other licensed/care providers.
Student Dependent Coverage: This product extends the
HealthFirst member's benefits to a dependent child over the age of 19, if he or
she is a full time-student at an accredited trade school, college or university.
