Influenza is one of the leading causes of absenteeism from work and school. Unlike the common cold, the flu can leave a person unable to work or go to school for several days. Anyone who wants to reduce their chances of getting the flu should get vaccinated. Flu shots are FREE to all Saint Mary’s Health Plans members.
