How can I become a Saint Mary’s broker?
You can become a Saint Mary's Health Plans (SHMP) broker by possessing an active Nevada Life and Health Agent License, sell a group with Saint Mary's Health Plans or obtain the broker of record from an existing Saint Mary's Health Plans account. Brokers and agents need to be appointed by Saint Mary’s Health Plans and should first complete the broker kit that is available from your Saint Mary's representative. Brokers should also provide Saint Mary's with a current copy of their Life and Health Agent license and proof of their E&O coverage.

Can I have my commission deposited directly to my bank account?
Yes, you can have your Saint Mary’s Health Plans commission payments deposited directly to your bank account through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Commission payments will be direct deposited from our corporate Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) Accounts Payable department in Sacramento, CA. To take advantage of this service, simply complete the following forms:

Please forward your completed forms to the email address or secure fax number indicated on the above Direct Deposit enrollment form. You will receive an email notification from CHW Accounts Payable department one day prior to commission fund transfers to your bank account.

This service allows us to offer you faster, more efficient and cost-effective commission payments. If you have any additional questions, please contact your SMHP Sales Account Executive or the Saint Mary’s Health Plans Commissions department at 775.770.6474.

Who is my Account Manager?
An Account Manager is your main point of contact for inquiries about open enrollment, plan offerings, provider directories and other general needs. Account Managers are organized by business unit to help ensure quick response and service. Account Managers establish and maintain a service relationship with brokers and their existing book of business. If you are a broker and are unsure of your Account Manager, please call a number listed below and you will be forwarded to your appropriate contact:

Who should I contact with a change of address or other administrative change?
You are responsible for contacting in writing your Account Manager when any administrative changes need to be made. This will ensure that we can properly communicate with you and provide commission. You many do this by either faxing your new information to 775.770.6454 or contacting your Account Manager directly by email or phone.
